Although the body that has selectively placed camouflaging, for anxious BMW lovers this spy photo taken on the streets of Germany would be of a lot of interest.

As BMW reaches the final stages of development of its new BMW 5-series sedan, fans can't wait to get a glimpse of the more sportier look from the German carmaker.
The 2011 BMW 5-series is going to have a twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 rather than the current generation's V10 engine.

The standard 5-series engine produces 555 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque, and the M5 version is expected to get an extra boost bringing the totals up to 578 hp and 530 lb-ft. 0 to 100km/h should slot somewhere between four and five seconds.

Watch out for the official Australian debut of the 2011 BMW M5 later this year.
